Call for papers!
The Academic & Innovation Track is a space for researchers, innovators and academics that would like to share ideas and experiences from established and emerging reporting domains using standards and novel technologies.
We are looking for novel innovations and research that try to solve real problems and create an impact on digital regulatory and corporate reporting, from data publication, data gathering, data interoperability, data analytics and visualisation.
We are pleased to accept any work related to the areas of ESEF and other digital regulatory reporting initiatives, financial and non-financial reporting, Core Banking, Financial Crime, and the application of technologies such as:
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Explainable AI, Natural language processing.
- Internet of Things and smart technologies in corporate reporting and disclosure.
- Big Data, Knowledge graph, knowledge representation and reasoning and Data Analytics.
- XBRL Disclosure and wider use of iXBRL, Open Information Model (OIM), SDMX, Web technologies, semantic web and ontologies.
- Accounting Information Systems.
Compulsory abstract submission: May 29th, 2020 (23:59 CEST)

The submissions must be in English, carefully checked for correct grammar and spelling. Each work should clearly indicate the nature of its technical/scientific contribution and the problems, domains or environments to which it is applicable.
Papers may not exceed 15 pages in length and it is recommended to be formatted according to the guidelines for Springer’s author instructions: http://www.springer.com/computer/lncs?SGWID=0-164-6-793341-0
Extended abstracts may not exceed 500 words.
Speakers of accepted papers and extended abstracts have full conference access at no charge.
Short papers and papers will be published.
